a good day

Somewhat and totally, maybe, unrelated to WoW. Today has been a really good day. Finally have a moving date which means life gets to be "normal" again. W00t own PC ftw (can you tell I have been missing my PC at a level which is probably horribly, abnormal - but at my level of geekdom is considered perfectly normal- and possibly requires psychiatric evaluation?). So ya'll will be glad to know there will probably be only one more blog entry on me missing my PC and that will be a happy reunion post, sometime next week!

This means I can stop dying on stupid Murlocs in Dustwallow - yes I am still blaming my idiocy on my UI. Someone please point out to me why exactly I decided it was a good idea to level there when I find the mind to late thirties absolutely intolerable where-ever I level and, therefore, STV would have been a far better choice because at least it would have been quick? Feeling like a total nubfish I am! Dead five times in as many minutes after repeatedly getting gankified. I should be deeply embarrassed and guess what? I am!

On the upside I do have to mention how wonderful DoubleWide and Lightheaded are when you are levelling. DoubleWide extends the quest log so that the description sits next to the quest and means you don't need to scroll and Lightheaded links comments from Wowhead into your quest log so that you can easily see where you need to be and what you need to do. Link this in with TomTom (a nice co-ord/map mod) and you'll get a lovely little arrow pointing the direction you need to go and how long it will take to get there and well, quite simply... GENIUS!
